• Became Word Detectives-shhh it's TOP SECRET
• Began our thankful journals (Tom Brady even made the list) 
• Learned about unicorns
• Figured out how many people are in the world
• Made our own turkeys
• Read about Veterans Day
• Practiced spelling new words using words we already know

• Implemented the "Loon Math Menu"
• Used the symbols >, <, and = when comparing numbers
• Continued working on our narrative writing with a focus on spelling

• Enjoyed our Fall Festival with the Koalas

• Worked on dropping "bad habits" in reading
• Began writing about our own real life stories
• Learned about fire dogs
• Participated in fire safety with the fire department and Sparky! 
• Met our fourth grade buddies
• Practiced ways to make 10 in math
• Learned about why things glow
