As you know, birthday celebrations are very important to young children. If you would like to send in a non-edible, treat for your child to distribute to his/her classmates on their birthday that would be great. Items such as stickers, pencils, etc. are always a big hit, and save on the complications that can arise with food allergies. Some families like to donate a wrapped book (in honor of the birthday child) to be added to the classroom library. Talk with your child about how they would like to celebrate.
